Our Artists

Here at the Turner Rowe Art Centre and Gallery we are passionate about creating beautiful pieces of art and showcasing local artists. We are both artists complimenting each other with contrasting styles to produce an eclectic range of stylish and contemporary pieces. Jo Turner specialises in glass and is often inspired by the sea, sunken treasure and living coral as well as creating original seascape paintings and sculpting unique ceramic pieces. Jo also creates her own jewellery range with beautiful glass. Fran Ballard specialises in pencil art and ceramic artistry using her talent to create her art on ceramics and amazingly detailed pencil drawings. Fran also specialises in unique hand built clay creations. Together Jo and Fran are passionate about teaching others their skills and hold regular workshops. Between them, they have a wealth of experience in teaching their art and love to facilitate the expression of other's creative endeavours.
